Installation
GORILLAS is a living ecosystem of sound objects, fog and light. Together, these elements create an evolving narrative environment, which explores questions around the immaterial quality of sound. How does the invisibility of sound affect our relationship to it?
During the installation the audience can interact with the sound objects, close, mute or move them in space and create their own sonic microcosmos. In its format we regard GORILLAS as a study on modern, genre-bending scenographic practises and how they could be linked to our own practise of sound work. The installation premiered at the Retune Festival 2018 in Berlin, Germany.
