In KUKA’s audio-visual showroom, visitors experience the fascinating world of robotics in an interactive and immersive way. The smart exhibition environment orchestrates the audio content based on the visitors individual course.

Visitors dive into a dark space spanning over 400 square meters, featuring seven interactive installations. Derived from the sonic representation of KUKA, we have composed three ambient environments for the main areas of the showroom. These ambients, combined with the sound design of the exhibits, immerse visitors in a harmonious sound environment. Our sound engine deploys the tracking system of the showroom, allowing each visitor to experience the dramaturgy at their own pace. The engine activates audio content based on the visitor’s position. Since all musical ambiences and sound events are rhythmically and harmonically synchronized, a seamless spatial experience is evoked for the visitor.
The exhibition’s highlight is a large installation featuring robots. Each of the robot bears an L-shaped configuration composed of identical cubes. Through a choreography of rotations, pans, lifts, and unions, they dynamically assemble a Tetris-inspired array of geometric shapes, constantly transforming their surface for projection.
